in the North West (1920), INS Sudlows is able to offer a range of
complimentary electrical services.
As members of the Joint Industry Board for electrical
contractors (JIB) and the (ECA) our services include:
General Power Design & Installation
From design and installation of new areas to replacement of individual points on any refurbished areas that require power, we can assist in the choice of the installation from low level flush sockets, dado type installations to power pole systems, all installed to meet with current legislation.
Lighting Design & Installation
INS Sudlows provide a complete service ranging from full system design and installation for either an office refurbishment or a new business location, to simply replacing lamps and ensuring their environmentally safe disposal.
When refurbishing any office areas we can assist in the planning of a lighting scheme that would compliment the office environment and provide ideas on the various choices of lights that would look both modern and effective as well as complying with the correct lighting standards for that environment.
Adds, Moves and Changes
Besides the design and installation of large refurbishment projects we can carry out small maintenance jobs ranging from simple fault finding electrical problems and installing individual points or just simply relocating a light fitting.
New Builds and Refurbishments
The office environments we are involved in range from new builds; incorporating both current legislation and regulations, through to refurbishments of existing buildings; including listed buildings and carried out with minimum disruption.
Fault Diagnosis
We can help with any electrical problems that may be being encountered from power surges to appliance faults. INS Sudlows will carry out a full survey with the back-up of monitoring devices, if required, to come up with a solution to the problem.
Cable Management
This tends to be deployed in Office environments where additional employees are taken on and situated in offices where minimal power and data points are currently present. In situations like this the circumstances usually dictate that extension leads are used which can result in overloading and tripping hazards. INS Sudlows can offer a site survey with various options and recommendations to manage these cables and access points more effectively.
Testing Inspection & Periodic Reporting
Due to current legislations and the electricity at works regulations there is now a requirement for all electrical installations to be tested and inspected. INS Sudlows will carry out a survey listing your requirements and explaining the procedures, we will then issue a schedule of works stating what area / floor will be tested at what date/time and any implications. The electrical testing and inspection will then be carried out with minimum disruption and a full in-depth report will be issued, highlighting clearly any defects present along with the costings for work required to rectify the faults.
Emergency Lighting Design & Installation
We can carry out full design and Installation of emergency lighting systems for every environment. All systems comply with BS5266 and are commissioned and provided with accurate log books.
Fire Alarm Design & Installation
We can carry out a full design and installation of Fire alarm systems for every environment or just relocate individual points. All new systems comply with BS5839 and are commissioned and provided with accurate log books.
24 Hour Maintenance & Call Out
As part of a maintenance package, we are able to offer a 24 hour Call out service for any unforeseen circumstances that may come up during the evening or at weekend.
As modern offices are more frequently in constant operation 24 hours a day, it can be a costly problem without the right back up service to resolve out of hours issues and faults.
