Cat 7
Similar to Cat 6A, Cat 7, ratified in 2002, allows an ultrafast ethernet protocol over 100 metres of copper cabling. However, it also offers even stricter specifications for alien crosstalk and system noise than Cat 6 by using even higher performance individually-shielded pairs.
When combined with GG45 or TERA connectors, Cat 7 cable is rated for transmission frequencies up to around 600MHz. TERA is also backwards compatible with 6A, 6 and 5e solutions.
